About Alexcis

I specialize in elementary-level tutoring and provide everything from pencils to books. I keep all my students' materials organized in a folder until they no longer need my assistance. I offer personal or private sessions, virtual sessions, or the option for the student to come to me. Each week, the student brings their previous work, new problems they need help with, and a progress update. My rate is $45 per hour, or $600 per week for unlimited sessions, except on Sundays.

I truly enjoy working with people and caring for young children. Teaching children and discovering different ways to adapt to their learning styles is my passion. I believe every child is smart, but each has a unique way of learning. My experience as a tutor has taught me to understand why or how a child may struggle with a subject. I would love to work with your child and help them sharpen their skills with my guidance and support!

I began my journey in education through child care, working as a full-time nanny and tutor. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I supported school-aged children by helping them stay on track academically while also providing a stable, nurturing environment. That experience deepened my commitment to personalized learning and taught me how to adapt quickly to each child’s emotional and educational needs—especially during uncertain times.

🌟 My Typical Process for Working with a New Student

When I begin working with a new student, I start with a brief introductory conversation to build trust and understand their unique learning style. I ask open-ended questions to learn what subjects they enjoy, where they struggle, and how they prefer to learn—whether visually, verbally, or through hands-on activities. This helps me tailor each session to their needs from the very beginning.

Next, I review any recent assignments, tests, or schoolwork they bring to identify patterns and areas for growth. I take notes on their strengths, challenges, and habits so I can create a personalized learning plan.

From there, we set a small, achievable goal for the first session to build confidence and momentum. I provide all necessary materials—pencils, folders, books—and maintain a calm, encouraging environment where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes.

Each session is structured but flexible, with progress tracked weekly and feedback shared with parents. Whether in-person or virtual, I focus on making learning engaging, effective, and empowering.

I have experience working with students from elementary through middle school, adapting each session to meet their developmental needs, academic goals, and individual learning styles.

MyLittle Tutor Pricing System:

**Sessions are no less than one hour and does not exceed 4 hours

*Single Session - $45/hr - Ideal for one-time help or trial sessions

*Weekly Bundle - $250/week - 3 sessions for 2hrs/per session

*Weekly Plan- $600/week - 5 sessions for 2hrs/per sessions (Mon - Fri) Great for Intensive Support

*Group Sessions /Shared Learning (2-3) - $35/hr per child

*For Full 6-hour Block- 7 am - 1pm/5 days (full tutoring/homeschool/care assistance) - $1000 for one child/$1200 for two kids/$1400 for 3+ kids

Cancellation/rescheduling policies (24-hour notice required)
