About Raquel
Hello! I am a college student located in Massachusetts. Throughout my life, I have had to go through the same process that all young students do: we have to learn things we don't necessarily want to learn. I believe I have mastered the skills required to learn such things, and that was key to getting me accepted into top 10 universities, including the Ivy League.
Along the way, I have mentored some younger students who have crossed paths with me, and I realize that mentoring students is something I quite enjoy. I will work together with my students to help them study effectively.

I was a high-achieving high school student, and I now attend a top ten U.S. university.

We can meet for a session to just talk casually about your needs and what you expect from a potential mentor/tutor, and we can assess accordingly whether or not I will be a good fit.
I will not pretend to know more about something than I do, so if I feel that you would be in much better hands with someone else, I will tell you upfront.
I think that the most important thing is finding a good match. Although knowledge and expertise is important, in my experience the most beneficial mentors are those who are easy to talk to, collaborate with, and who geniunely care about their students.
I will strive to be that mentor.
