About Callie

I have been teaching college psychology for 3 years now and have both a Masters and a Bachelors degree majoring in psychology.

I will be able to deliver a wide range of teaching strategies that connect best to the given student, develop great communication skills with the students to help learn problem-solving skills by leading and having different discussions, and will be able to clarify and materials that they may not fully understand, YET!

I currently work at a community college teaching psychology and absolutely love it! I really enjoy helping out students and want to do that through tutoring!

I started teaching in graduate school and absolutely loved it! I haven't looked back since then and have continued teaching psychology to a variety of students!

I have a Bachelors of Science degree majoring in Psychology and a Masters of Arts degree majoring in Psychological Research. I also have been teaching psychology classes at the college level since August of 2017. I am very equipped with the most recent technology that is available and use this to my, and the student's, benefit.

About the lesson

I like to get to know the student. I focus on understanding their strengths and their preference in teaching styles. If I am able to understand that they prefer things to be hands-on, I can tailor my lesson and tutoring session to best fit those needs. Whatever my student needs, I can do for them!

I have worked with students in graduate school who were very developed in their specialty, all the way down to freshman in college who were not psychology majors and simply needed help finding a way to understand the material and pass the class. I am able to work with any age range! I was a preschool teacher for 6 years before I began teaching higher education so I am really able to relate and teach all age groups.
