I use a quarterly or by semester payment plan for the academic year. I send out a calendar with the payment schedule on it. This is to simplify matters and assure a certain level of commitment on the student's part. A semester goes for 10 weeks starting with the Fall that goes from September 5 to November 11 . If student's family cant pay the full tuition in September I work out a special arrangement with that family. This has worked best of other options that I have tried over the years. It helps me know if there are financial issues that may come up. And to learn the violin one need to may that commitment.

In terms of pricing I change $25 per half hour per semester and for the second family member its $20 per hour per semester.
