About Stephen
I have played piano for 17 years, 7 of those years being from classical piano lessons, and the rest from personal learning of a modern contemporary style. I also have studied music theory at a college level, been a worship leader, and written, recorded, and performed music.

I first want to get to know the student and learn what exactly the student is hoping to learn and why they want to learn that. I then will get to know the particular styles and artists they like and what types of things they want to be able to learn or sound like. We then work through the fundamentals, building a strong foundation for the future, while incorporating the interests and styles of the student.
