About Marcus
I like to tailor instruction to align with the student's goals. If it's studying for a test, we'll study to get the best score, if it's a project, we'll try to get the best grade, if it's simply to learn and understand the subject, we'll focus on fundamentals, theory, and real world examples.
I took physics 1 in high school and college, and pursued a bachelors of science in Mechanical Engineering. Physics 1 concepts were applied all through my undergraduate major and into my career as a Mechanical Engineer.

Marcus was very helpful in both physics classes I took. He was attentive, a good listener, and had no problem going back a step if I was confused. He was able to frame the problems in a way that made sense to me and then challenged me with other problems to practice my learning. He was very patient and understanding every time we met even when I would get frustrated. He is a GREAT tutor!
