About Marina

Embarking on a journey that harmonizes education, artistic innovation, and musically creative pedagogy, Marina Kotsios has orchestrated a symphony of experiences that defines her vision and influence in the world of music.

It began with Marina completing her schooling parallel with intense and highly trained musical education, setting the stage for her entrance into the prestigious halls of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music and the Moscow State Institute of Music named after A.G. Schnittke. It was within these venerable institutions that Marina Kotsios honed her musical prowess, emerging not just as a graduate but as a proficient keyboard player and music-master with a profound understanding of the language of music.

The first movements of Marina’s professional journey unfolded in Moscow, where she ventured into the realm of education serving as a Music Instructor in both kindergarten and middle school settings. Concurrently, she assumed the role of a private piano lessons instructor, crafting bespoke musical experiences.

She then moved to Athens, Greece, where she became a Piano Teacher in the Neo Ionia District, harmonizing Russian and Greek musical traditions, creating a melodic bridge across cultural landscapes. Marina Kotsios not only imparted technical knowledge but sowed the seeds of a lifelong love for music in the hearts of aspiring students.

In 1991, Marina advanced her journey into the vibrant cultural landscape of Los Angeles where she continued her professional piano teaching at a private music school and extended her expertise to in-home lessons across the city and in some regions of California. Marina Kotsios became a conduit for musical inspiration and the Hollywood lights witnessed her metamorphosis into an IMDb artist and composer for film and television shorts, adding a cinematic dimension to their musical repertoire.

Fast forward to the present, Marina finds herself in the vicinity of Philadelphia, where she continues to shape the musical landscape as a dedicated piano instructor. This latest movement of her symphony of life symbolizes a return to the core of education and the enduring joy of musical expression. Their journey is a testament to the transformative power of education and the universal language that is music.
