Emily is friendly and approachable. She is extremely talented and a wonderful musical inspiration for my kids. We really enjoyed several years of her piano teaching with her.

Her approach to teaching scat singing was insightful - she recommended lots of useful material to listen to and helped me approach this complex area in a structured and digestible manner.

Emily was also so helpful when I decided to start learning piano. She’d make recordings and write up detailed notes of our learning during each lesson, which proved an invaluable reference point when I was practising outside of lessons. She also taught in a way that was tailored to my longer term objective of being able to accompany myself while singing.
