About Ethan

I mask repetition & learning through gamifying my lessons and connecting with my students' interests.

Many of us know what we want to accomplish, but for some reason, we have trouble motivating ourselves to manifest our desires. My lessons aim to completely solve this issue by making work into play.

I absolutely love music. I've been around it my entire life and it has been the one thing that has stuck with me through thick and thin.

I started classical piano lessons when I was 4 (I am now 21) and began competing at age 8. After I entered college, I found passion in using my music to create & compose modern tracks, & now have 5 years of music production / sound design experience as well.

I've been teaching music professionally for 6 years - and unprofessionally for 10.

To name a few...

- 15 years of Classical and Jazz Piano Performance

- 10 years of Professional Classical / Jazz / Chamber Music

- 5+ years of Classical / Modern Voice training (From opera to hip-hop)

- 5+ years experience with audio design & music production. (I work in Logic Pro X as my DAW)

- 5+ years teaching / tutoring Piano / Audio Engineering / Performance / Voice

- Currently studying music technology @ NYU

About the lesson

I've worked with students from ages 4 to 50+, all with different skill levels and starting points.

Be open to trying new things! Remember that there is no right or wrong, but rather a balance of techniques that will suit your needs better than others. It's up to you which techniques you blend when creating your own musical image.

I don't teach things that can just be found for free online. I teach concepts to guide you into discovering things that you never thought possible!
