Find a teacher who helps make your musical journey enjoyable so that you'll be inspired to work at it even if you don't feel like it.
I recently proposed and became engaged to the woman on my dreams and will forever have fond memories of that!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students (and parents) should ask themselves what they wish to gain from private lessons. i.e. Are you trying to make it into a school ensemble? Are you looking for a productive and creative outlet? Do you wish to be a professional performer?
You might not have all the answers to those questions right away but they're great to keep in the back of your mind!

My Son (good in music) and I (no music background) took drumming lessons with Richy. He is very knowledgeable, extremely patient and fun to be in a class with. He knows how to teach children and adults / people with or without music background / whether a student wants to dive deep in music or just learn enough to have fun.
This young man is great and patient. My son has asd. My son is so proud he can play a song efficiently. This man has the awesome sauce. Get him and keep him. He is magnificent with his talent
