About Szuyu
Welcome! I offer personalized piano lessons for students of all ages and for levels ranging from elementary to advanced, tailored to each individual’s goals, needs, and learning style.
About me:
- Graduate of Curtis Institute of Music (BM) and The Juilliard School (MM)
- Currently pursuing my Doctor of Musical Arts at the Shepherd School of Music, Rice University
- Experienced in classroom, online, and one-on-one teaching
- Experienced in school auditions, international competitions, ensemble playing and collaborations with orchestras
- Good at helping students solve technical challenges and make real musical progress
Whether you're preparing for auditions, competitions, or just want to enjoy making music, I focus on effective practice strategies and developing your unique musical voice. You can find recordings of my performances by searching my name on Youtube.
