About Jennifer
I currently teach flute and piano lessons in the Hot Springs, AR area, in addition to my full-time music director position at First UMC in Hot Springs. I have a BM in Flute Performance and a Masters and Ph.D. in Music Theory. I also play flute and alto flute in the Alchemia Flute Ensemble of Little Rock for fun.
I love to guide and inspire others as we all continually strive for higher levels of excellence together. I learn something new about teaching from each student, as they learn from me as well! I have a wide variety of musical experiences to draw from as I teach, including my military band and jazz experience in the USMC (four years), ten years of singing with the Dallas Symphony Chorus, and many years of musical study and teaching experience on the college level working toward advanced degrees in music theory and choral conducting. I have been teaching all ages privately for about five years now, formerly at the Searcy Community School of Music with private students as well and now in Hot Springs.

Tish is an amazing piano teacher. She is very sweet, professional and very patient. If you are looking for an amazing piano teacher for your child, she is the best and I am so blessed I found her. My son can't wait to go to his piano lessons and enjoys every single class.
