About Emery Yu-Pang
I am a professional musician with much experience in performing and teachings. I'm also an associate piano instructor at Indiana University for over 4 years (since 2017).
Being able to share and work with the students on what I love is the best thing in my life. I enjoy teaching and seeing people growing on their piano playing and the love of music.

My first lesson is typically centered around finding out what the student already knows, and where the holes are in their musical knowledge so I can decide how to help them. We also speak about the student’s goals and then figure out the best way to proceed.

Highly recommend Emery's teaching! I was an advanced student btw
Emery was my piano teacher at IU 2 years ago, he was a very comfortable person to work with. He'll give more than you expected in music learning. I will definitely recommend him!
Emery's just so professional about the piano. He has been super patient with me, I really enjoy his lessons and listening to his playing/demonstration on the pieces I play.
Everything Emery teaches is very on point and he uses lesson time very effectively!
Emery is the best instructor I can ever ask for. He is very professional and patient. Also, he is very encouraging yet also gets across what he expects from his students. I would recommend him to anyone.
