About Stephen
I believe you start playing music when you do more than just read notes. My process involves reading music but also progressing to basically playing by ear. When you get to this point music sounds smooth and melodic, which I think should be the goal of all musicians.
Music in many ways a puzzle, and helping someone unlock the puzzle is very satisfying. Honestly, it's not always easy but as pieces come together, it can provide a personal development for the student that is very rewarding to observe.
