About Phyllis
Bachelors Degree in Sacred Music with proficiencies in piano, voice and organ. Have taught public school music, directed cantatas, musical plays, choirs, as well as private lessons. I can trace my piano musical heritage back to Bach, and my organ heritage back to Beethoven. Have performed on stage at Bob Jones University and at Florida State University. Teaching hymn playing and sacred vocal music for solo performance are my first loves.
I have a degree with proficiencies in piano, voice, and organ. I have performed at Florida State University for a professional development program, and for various campus receptions. I have been the pianist for three Tallahassee churches. I have taught in both private and public schools for 40 years in academic as well as music classes. I am presently training a new choir to perform an Easter cantata on April 12. I have a passion to teach others.
