About Anju
Anju Chandy (Master of Music: Piano Performance) teaches multi-genre, multi-instrument music lessons, including piano, violin, drums, and singing. With over 22 years of music teaching experience and hundreds of students of all ages and levels from around the world, Anju has developed an unorthodox yet highly successful approach to music lessons. Anju’s main goal is to meet each student where they are, foster a lifelong love of music, and instill in you a sense of pride in your own sound. Whether you want to play & sing songs by your favorite band, learn how to read classical piano sheet music, or get over your stage fright and perform for an upcoming event, Anju will help you start seeing results fast. As a performing musician, Anju has been primarily a touring keyboardist, opening for such acts as Lizzo, Wanda Jackson, Lee Fields, and Booker T. Jones. Anju is a professional sight-reader and choral accompanist, with degrees in solo classical piano, secondary emphasis on classical violin, and certificates in jazz studies.
