About Charles
Charles Ritter is a pianist, composer, music director, and teacher in the San Diego area. He is currently studying music composition at San Diego State University and strives towards excellence in everything he does. Currently playing piano for the Grossmont Symphony Orchestra, San Diego State Symphony, and as an accompanist for the Grossmont Communty College, Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, and at San Diego State University. His goal is to teach students to not only play piano, but to use those skills to be able to create. Piano is an experience that opens up the individual to not only perform but to adapt and create and blossom as a person.

The first thing I do is learn what the student would like to learn. Then I fomulate a curriculum that will best focus on that goal and give them challenging yet doable coursework to accomplish that goal. Every person is different and I teach them as such.
