Katie is so patient and encouraging with our 8 year old son! He started in May and recently had his first recital. He had a wonderful opportunity to play on a concert grand piano in a college music hall venue. We know all teachers cannot provide that type of opportunity. He hit every note, and we were so proud!

Our son enjoys lessons with Katie, and she takes time to teach him the meaning of all of the symbols - much more than I ever learned over various years of classes as a child.
She provides a great mix of traditional/technical music along with fun, holiday/current songs and moves with him at his speed.

We learned about Katie through a school brochure that came home in our son’s folder, and we feel like we found a hidden gem!

Miss Kaite is a wonderful piano teacher, and has the patience of a SAINT with my children! 😄 She looks for opportunities for the kids to get out and perform several times a year, and always has a positive, encouraging attitude while still encouraging the kids to strive for improvement. My mother has watched several lessons, and has repeatedly commented on how incredibly well Katie does with the kids, and how much they get out of their lessons as compared with lessons from other teachers that she has seen in the past with her other grandkids.
