I began my journey into teaching music during my time at music college. I found myself helping younger students prepare for their entrance exams to be accepted into the music college. This experience allowed me to develop my teaching skills further, and it ignited a passion for educating aspiring musicians. After completing my own music education, I began teaching at various music schools. This allowed me to work with students of different ages and skill levels. In addition to teaching in music schools, I also started my own private teaching practice.

I studied piano, voice, and choir conduction for a total of 9 years at a music school. Following that, I continued my musical education at Mikhail Glinka Minsk State Music College and later at Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.

About the lesson

My typical process with a new piano student involves assessing their skill level, setting goals, and tailoring lessons to their needs. I incorporate games and fun activities to keep them engaged and motivated.

I possess extensive expertise in instructing individuals of diverse age groups and varying skill levels, with a particular emphasis on educating young children. My primary focus revolves around crafting entertaining and stimulating piano lessons to ensure an enjoyable and enriching learning journey for young students.

Look for a piano teacher with a personal connection to you or your child, expertise in teaching, and the ability to adapt their approach to suit your or your child's needs.

I conducted a community choir that brought together parents and children for rehearsals leading up to a concert. Our performance took place at Christopher Columbus Park in Boston, as well as a special Mayor's Enchanted Trolley Tour at the Paul Revere Mall. It was a heartwarming occasion that truly strengthened our sense of community through the power of music.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Before talking to a piano teacher, students should consider:

Their goals (e.g., playing for fun or pursuing exams).

Preferred learning style (e.g., formal lessons or casual).

Available practice time.

Budget for lessons.

Any specific genres or songs they want to learn.

My 9-year-old son and I had an incredibly positive experience working with piano teacher Anna for his lessons. There were several aspects I appreciated about her teaching style and approach.

First and foremost, Anna's patience and understanding were remarkable. She made learning the piano a fun and enjoyable experience for my son. Her ability to adapt her teaching methods to his age and skill level ensured that he remained engaged and motivated throughout the lessons.

Anna also had a knack for breaking down complex concepts into simpler, more digestible parts. This made it easier for my son to grasp fundamental music theory and piano techniques. Her clear explanations and visual aids helped him understand musical concepts more effectively.

These qualities not only helped my son progress in his piano skills but also fostered a genuine love for playing the piano.
