About Gala

I have been teaching private piano lessons, group lessons in after school programs and studio settings. I use the Music for Little Mozart’s and MiniMusic curriculums for preschoolers. I am an active member of the Music Teachers Association of California and have been teaching their Certificate of Merit curriculum for 30 years which holds annual evaluations for students to measure their progress. I teach students of all ages and have experience teaching those with special needs. A few of my students have qualified for entrance into the BYU school of music. In the past I have conducted church choirs and accompanied vocalists and instrumentalists.

I received a Bachelor Arts in Piano Performance at San Jose State University.

I love helping students discover their talent at making music. I believe everyone can learn to play at some level.

Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance. 30 years of teaching private as well as group lessons.

About the lesson

I teach students of all ages. I have experience working with students who have special needs.

I feel it is important to meet with the prospect a teacher and see if their goals and personalities are compatible.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Student should think about why they want to learn to play the piano and do they have enough time scheduled for the adequate practice it takes to learn an instrument.
