Megan is a talented pianist and has been such a patient fun teacher for our son (6). She is flexible to his needs and level which makes him more comfortable and willing to practice. Her joy matches his for his accomplishments and simply playing together. We've enjoyed listening to them practicing together both virtually and in person. My daughter has been taking beginner lessons with Megan for coming up on a year now and in that time we have done pre-covid lessons in person, remote lessons and now lessons in person with covid precautions. I am impressed with how Megan adjusted her teaching model so quickly and gracefully despite these challenges, especially with remote lessons. We really didn’t skip a beat, so to speak, and even graduated from primer lessons in that time. Megan is a natural teaching young kids and makes learning fun and easy. My daughter took to her quickly and has gained so much confidence in her playing. Despite a structured lesson plan Megan has been open to new songs and ideas along the way, as well as other resources to help encourage an appreciation for music in general. Communication has always been great. Megan is very responsive to questions and keeps us in the loop with an official studio letter. I very highly recommend lessons with Megan!!
