About Suma
I have been teaching Physics for high school students in classtoom set up for 7 years, specialized in helping students prepare for the subject test in college entrance examinations. Most of my experience has been in India where students are into a tough compitition to make it to prestegious engineering and medical schools. Work experience as Tutor at homework center in USA has trained me to be able to connect to students with a range of academic capabalities.
Tutoring has been my hobby that is immensely gratifying. The connection that I make with my student in the individual level enables me to tailor the various aspects of teaching and hence meet the expectation of the student efficiently.
I hold a Master's degree in Physics with a Bachelor's degree in Education. My aspiration to be a compassionate teacher has led me to pursue Master degree in Psychology - Child Mental Health, which I believe has given me great results in what I do , for being able to understand the student's issues and to have a scientific and holistic approach to fill the gap.
I will be pleased to assist students in need of additional academic support with high school Physics or SAT Physics or AP Physics.
