About Jeff

Dragonfly Vision Media is a highly experienced and professional small team of photographers, videographers, audio professionals, editors and pilots. We work primarily in the Fort Lauderdale, Miami and the Palm Beaches, but have and always are willing to travel.

These days everyone has a camera and anyone can take a picture. What sets us apart is that we are professional artists , who are very skilled and love what we do. Share with us your vision and we will use the latest and most advanced technology, and our creativity, to collect and achieve that vision for you or your business

When you get to a certain point, where you feel you have a broad grasp, knowledge and comfort with the field of photography... it's a natural evolution to want to share what you've learned and connect with others.

I graduated from the art institute in 1993 with my degree in Photography, Videography and Music Business. I also minored in Audio Engineering and working with Studio Sound. I got certified in Adobe Software from New Horizons Vocational School in 1997. I am a wizard at photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere, and I work with several other Software’s to edit and enhance my images, topaz Labs, Photomatix, HDR Pro, Anthropic Software, Gigpan, jixipix, Kolor, and many more. I also create custom graphic art and logos as well if you wish to explore custom work in a digital environment.

I also hold a FAA Commercial UAV Pilots license to fly Drones...legally.

About the lesson

First we discuss what your looking to achieve, and then we explore what you know and where you are in your knowledge of Photography and Video. We device a curriculum together on how to get your there and what prerequisites and mastery is needed to get to each of the next steps.

In our journey we will cover theory, the Science of lighting and color, composition, Hardware, Technology, software and editing, Lighting, Capturing movement and even Sound. I realize you don't know, what you don't know.. so you may not even know what to ask, so i will broaden your spectrum by sharing with you photography techniques and manipulating your hardware to create various artistic effects, you can enjoy and explore. allwoing you to find your Niche and style of your own.

Picking up a guitar and learning how to play is very possible. peolpe do it all the time. However there will come a point where your learning slows, and you don't even know it, becuase you don't know what else there is.

Just like music and working with an instrument.. there is an entire science behind photography. Knowing and understanding this science allows you to break through your ceiling and opens your love, passion and creativity to a whole new level... one that will take you a lifetime to master. As new technology and mediums come out.. I too am still on this journey and I love it and would like to share with you!

Recently, I shot for Okeechobee music festival which was 36,000 people and Tortuga Music festival of 100,000 people. these were benchmarks in my career.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What interest you about photography?
Are you looking to learn for enjoyment or for business?
What would you like to be able to capture?
What would you like to learn and focus on?
How will you use and portray the media you collect?
how much of you time would you like to invest in the learning process?
How much time can you invest in practice and use?
