I met Leslie on LOGLINES group chat. I have been missing the mark on my logline, which as I am finding, are very difficult to nail. He took time out of his day and gave me some very good advice, hard-hitting but honest. I feel that his help was valuable and would recommend him to other writers who may be struggling and, or, need solid advice.

As a writer-director who was seeking a better understanding of photography, I could not have found a better teacher than Leslie. As a writer himself (and a damn good one!), he spoke my language and was able to distill complex photographic concepts into terms that someone like myself (with no technical background) could understand. I’m pretty fucking dense when it comes to machines and visual concepts, but Leslie never gave up until he was sure understood the lesson. It’s rare to find visual artists with his verbal communication skills. I Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Leslie got me into Black & White film photography. He helped me find a camera to fit my needs and budget and also taught me about film and how to develop it. He is very knowledgeable and dedicated and is able to communicate his passion and knowledge well. He also taught me how to work with models and portrait subjects including with animals. I fully recommend him as your teacher!

I can fully recommend Leslie as your photog instructor. My friend recommended Leslie as my photography teacher & mentor. I liked how he listened to my needs and never told me what to do but rather how to discover my own voice and style. He helped me figure out what lens to buy for my DSLR and how to find and work with models. He has a lot knowledge about gear and equipment but somehow always simplifies it down and makes me feel like its more simple and less overwhelming.
