About Rick

I help aspiring photographers to transcend from "taking pictures" to "making photographs".

I have a passion for creativity and enjoy mentoring those who share that passion.

I have been an independent commercial advertising photographer for over 30 yrs with a national client base.

I have expertise in Fashion, Food, Beverage and Magazine editorial and creative portrait photography. I teach lighting, composition and creative perspective which directs students to create al distinctive style.

About the lesson

My process is designed to transcend the student from "taking pictures" to making photographs. My goal is to help students develop the skills to create their own personal vision and style. I teach students the photographic techniques to control light, compostion and point of view in order to create artistry. My lessons are self paced to help each student find personal vision and creativity.

My rates are based on $40 1 hr weekly lessons. $150 per month ( 4 lessons ). Group lessons are available at a cost savings if student schedules permit.
