About Brye
This website!! Never thought about teaching until I saw this site and thought I see if it's something I'd like to do.....
I started photography in 1990, when my uncle gave me my first camera. It quickly became my favorite hobby. Throughout the years I have have been "in and out" of the hobby as other hobbies have come and gone, always come back to photography.
In late 2016, I decided to turn my hobby into my profession, and decided to get additional training/education.....online courses with a photography school, where I recieved my certification/diploma in their photography program and also recieved certification in Lightroom and Photoshop. It’s an ongoing process and I want to stay abreast to the latest techniques.

I like to do a very informal type of first lesson.....just get to know my client and what they like to do on their free time and so on...this allows me to get a good idea of what we can focus on for subject matter and locations to visit for lessons. During this time I also find out the level of experience they are at and want to focus on....
Hire someone that you are comfortable with...seriously, it will go along way with learning about this great hobby of ours!! Also, choose someone that isn't "brand biased"...nothing worse then a photographer who is always dismissing your camera/gear cause they don't use/like that brand......of course, many photographers have their perferred brand...but stay away from those that openly dismiss your choice....
