About Emmanuel
When Washington, D.C., body transformation expert Emmanuel Soba tells his clients that “anything is possible,” it’s not just a maxim –-it’s something he’s proven true in his own life and wants to share with others struggling to realize their dreams. When Soba started coaching and leading boot camps in 2010, he was living in his car and was just on the other side of his own fitness journey – shedding 60 pounds and 10 inches from his waist in a 90-day period. He thought, if he could achieve his fitness goals under such extreme circumstances, surely the same is possible for others – with the right mindset and the support they need to reach their goals.
Soba realized that fitness isn’t just a passion, it’s a way of life – so, he set out to become a personal trainer to help make it a part of other people’s lives as well.
In less than a year, Soba became certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, designing scientifically founded workouts that drive continual progression and results. Landing a job at one of the most exclusive clubs in the country, Soba climbed the ranks to become one of the top trainers (out of 47 trainers) within his first three months of employment.
By 2013 Soba started making a name for himself in D.C., training high-profile clients and winning the award for “Best Personal Trainer” from Washington City Paper. After carefully identifying his unique approach and hearing countless clients describe the dramatic improvements in their lives, he realized “Body Transformation Expert” was a more fitting label – and more indicative of what clients could expect when they committed to his training program.
Soba continues to be the leading trainer in D.C., recognized by DC Modern Luxury magazine last year as the “Top Fitness Expert 2015” and this year as “Top Fitness Expert 2016”. As a single father of two, Soba has accomplished a tremendous amount in such little time – and wants to continue to help others do the same. Soba likes to tell his clients, “where there is a will, there is a way, and anything worth having is worth fighting for”. Soba will stop at nothing short of showing the world that if you want it bad enough, it can be done. Body Sculpting by Emmanuel and Fit Camp DC is a home Emmanuel Soba created to help replicate his personal success in others. Like Soba, Body Sculpting by Emmanuel and Fit Camp DC is the embodiment of hard work and perseverance.
