About Lauren

Growing up as a competitive gymnast and dancer I became fascinated with the details of how the body is connected. This joy of movement eventually brought me to The Pennsylvania State University, where I continued to dance while studying Kinesiology.

I had a passion to help people discover how to move their bodies daily and efficiently with purpose. It was in PA that I took my first Pilates reformer class. My back opened up, I felt grounded and taller at the same time.

Less than a year later, I was Mat Certified through Long Beach Dance Conditioning, and trained with the renowned Marie Jose-Blom. That same year, I completed Body Arts and Sciences International (BASI) 600+ hour comprehensive course with Dance Specialization at Cal State Long Beach under the direction of Karen Clippinger.

Based in New York since 2011, I have had the privilege of teaching hundreds of clients in both corporate gym and boutique studio environments.

I teach athletes, people with minor to severe spine injuries or scoliosis, PT patients, pre & post natal women, and anyone aiming toward perfect form for a killer workout.
