About Zulema

I play professionally and I teach all levels. I have the ability to create a supportive and comfortable enviornment. I have over 20 years experience in Teaching. I have been fortunate enough to play with Sheila E. She actually gave me my 1st set of Congas few years ago. I have been fortunate enough to be in her family circle. I have been blessed to play in a band with Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame Inductee and Recepient Elliot Easton from The Cars. As well as member of The Beach Boys.

I love to see people transfrom right before my eyes. To see them progress is so rewarding.

I just started teaching at Remo Percussion and North Hollywood.

I am a music major. I have taken music introduction, music theory, Music Business, Music Songwriting. I have studied with: Chief Kamara, Alex Acuna, Danny Carey, Sheila E.

About the lesson

I asked them what is a comfortable, supportive And most inviting way for them to learn. Once I have that information we will come up with a constructive and informative way of learning.

I have worked with all levels. I also work with children that have disabilities physical or mental disabilities. I have worked with all ages ranging from 3 years of age to 90 years of age.

Just be honest in what you are loooking for. Music is created through authenicity. Be yourself and everything will fall into place.

I had a really great experience with a group of physically and mentally disabled children and their mothers. It was more rewarding for me in every way.
