About Darlene

Hello All!

Do you work too much and get a little stressed out?

Do you want to let loose, make friends and have fun with paint?

My name is Darlene and I am the owner and Painting Instructor of Have FUN With Paint LLC. I have been teaching for 4 years and have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drawing and painting and with all my years experience I can teach anyone who can't even draw a straight line to have the time of their lives creating an experience of a lifetime of canvas.

RSVP to our next event now. Seats are limited. See you then. :)

I got started teaching by wanting to become a revolutionary and wanting everyone to paint. I thought painting saved my life and that it brought my so much joy everyone should practice it.

I have had over 16 years of formal art training and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from California State Long Beach majoring in Drawing and Painting with and emphasis in figurative painting. I have been selling paintings for years and have been making art for over 25 years. I have been an exhibiting artist in galleries for over a decade.

About the lesson

I let all of my new students know that there are no prior skills necessary, I teach them step by step process with me guiding them through each step by the class then by each student specifically so that everyone can get my attention. I give them enough time to play, explore and chat and make friends thoughout the process.

I have worked with all types of students: children to adults. Creatives to so called non-creatives who ended up painting wonderfully.
