About Bailey

Little Diamond Decor is a small, locally owned and woman-run business that is focused on creating unique, beautiful, and sustainably sourced pieces for your home.

The owner, Bailey, is a recent college graduate who is passionate about improving interior spaces, creating art, creativity, and sharing the enjoyment of all of the above with students. Classes that are offered currently are: -Making Natural Soy Wax Candles -DIY Abstract Acrylic Free Pouring

Both of these lessons teach you everything that I do for creating amazing pieces for my home and my store so that you will then have the skills necessary to really DIY...without it looking like it was DIY.

I have always been artistic and creative, and now with my experience from a Communication degree, I want to share what I know with others. So even if you don't purchase something from my store, you can still have that Little Diamond Decor touch in your home- with a piece you handcrafted yourself!

My small business is beginning to be quite successful, and I enjoy explaining the process of handcrafting to others. I hope to spread my current knowledge from creating paintings and candles, both retail and custom orders for dozens of customers.

About the lesson

First I will begin by showing examples of pieces I have created. I explain in detail the entire process from scratch to finish, what materials to buy, the correct ratios for pouring both wax and/or paint, etc.

Then we will discuss what the student is most interested in learning to handmake, where their creativity is drawing them, their desired color scheme, or fragrance.

I will include the supplies in the cost of the lessons, so I can ensure the process will go smoothly with products that I know, trust, and use myself daily. The student will be allowed to choose their color scheme, canvas size shape, candle container, etc. The options will vary from class to class, depending on class size and students' requests.
