About Marie

I teach art class to young children, preschool, primary and middle school age only. I work my classes around children’s personality. My goal is to help children find their inner creativity’s.

I do a lot of creation around inspire by nature and I try to use a lot of recycle in their art.

I often put classical music when we work to inspire children and help then stay calm.

I like to teach children in group of 2 to 8 , I think that it is better for them not to be alone when they create.

I love working with children and I admire their unique way to see the world.

I have been teaching art for the past 10 years and I enjoyed every minutes of it.

I feel that most of the school don’t offer enough time to do art in school and I like to offer my services .

I am extremely busy but have time on the week end to teach.

Having children made me realize how much I love to teach .

I went to art school in France and when I moved to the us i took night classes to learn different techniques.

About the lesson

I don’t have already plan lesson, I work around each children personality. I want the children to relate and be passionate about their work.

18 month old to 13 years old.

Find someone that you feel confortable with and make sure that her lesson are interesting to your children.

I went to the high museum to see Yayoi Kusama work and I loved the experience. If you look at my pictures you can see that we did a lot of work on her.

Details

I ask for 70 dollars per hour and I rather have 2 children minimum. I think it is better to work with someone else and you can split the cost. I bring all the supplies.
