About Becky

Aloha, I'm an internationally collected mixed media painter living, and creating art in Hawaii since 1999. My passion is creating art that inspires love and gratitude. I'm excited to now offer and share these artistic gifts with you by guiding you through the creative process, unveiling your inner artist. The act of making artwork is known to be as beneficial as meditation, improving mental health, reducing stress or anxiety. Exploring your creativity crosses over into many facets of your daily life proven to help with problem solving, even enhancing communication skills, the benefits go on and on. Take your next gathering or celebration to the next level with an unforgettable "Paint With Me" experience. Group paint parties are the perfect addition for bridal & baby showers, corporate team building events, neighborhood or gatherings with friends and family.

I love the emotional connection between the creator and the creation of artwork. The pure joy, memories and inspiration associated with the artworks created in these group setting are timeless moments the make for incredible longterm reward.

Collectors, friends and family have been asking me to offer classes for years. I'm thrilled to be at a point and position to be able to now do so. It's an incredibly personal experience. Like anyone who teaches will tell you, the sentimental value is the ultimate the take away. This holds tremendous value and leaves my inspiration cup full.

I have been immersed in the fine art world for over 20 years now. My background in the art world is multifaceted from gallery ownership, art consulting as well as creating art.

About the lesson

Find a few friends sign up. I bring all the supplies. You provide the location (unless signing up for a special event location). The fun, joy, memories and laughter are all included. Take the pressure off of yourself. Know that I walk you step-by-step with encouragement through the process of creativity. This leaves you with a piece of art to proudly take home, a piece you will cherish for years to come.

My best advice when it comes to art work whether creating on your own or hiring a teacher is never take yourself too seriously. There are no mistakes in making art, it's just another layer added to your story just like life.

Stick with teachers & mentors that use postive reinforcement and encouragement. 😍

I love painting live and do so regularly. I do so in the galleries that represent my artworks hosting a show, corporate events to raise productivity and increase teambuilding, or charitable events that raise awareness and fund raising. I very much enjoy these events, they inspire others to create while bringing awareness to the arts. These events most often bring new friendships and relationships. This is part of what I love about being an artist

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Planning too much can be over rated. Setting goals are always a great idea. Our goal with each class can vary, most classes are designed to complete a fresh piece of art start to finish in one session. Larger more complex artworks will be taught in a series of classes.
