Painting with oils was new to me. George's instruction advanced my skills dramatically. And he is a master at finding the light in his works of art. It sets him apart from other artists and I am always trying to do it half as well as he does.

George Ceffalio is an amazing teacher! I feel my paintings have improved so much because of him. I love the Old Dutch Masters ”Chiaroscuro” style of painting and was thrilled to get into classes with George. He explains setting up a still life, composition, working the under painting which, with this style is an important step to building a base for your painting. He also teaches the importance of working the contrast of lights and Darks to make your work pop. George’s work is beautiful and I hope with practice, my work will look as beautiful as his!

It was a pleasure working with George Ceffalio: to learn from him during his workshops and to deal with him as a person. George is the most talented painter I have ever met! His paintings are amazing and he is a excellent teacher. Everyone starts together on the same project and its step by step instructions with George guiding you throughout the workshop. If your interested in learning how to paint then I highly recommend you take one of his workshops.

He is very patient and was willing to work with everyone of his students. He went around several times and gave tips on how to work on our paintings. He also gave some useful information about paints and mediums. I really learnt a lot in his class. I was inspired to work on more stillife paintings. George’s class was one amazing experience!
