About Stephen
I am a mixed media artist dealing in Asian themes.
i paint in both Classical Chinese and Japanese style using traditional materials: the bamboo brush, the ink stone, the ink stick and mulberry paper. In addition, I seek to achieve the same watercolor effects using acrylics on wood and canvas.
i draw much inspiration from nature.
i am a member of the Internal Chinese Caligraphy and Inkpainting Society and have exhibited in their North American show in Portland, Oregon.

I have studied under an internationally known Chinese ink painter and mixed media artist, Joan Yen and studied traditional Chinese painting under international artist Henry Li.
