One to two hours a session. Will decide what level individual is example, beginners intermediate, advanced.
I have worked with ,and continue to work with a wide variety of ages. Age 5 years to 80s.
I would advise them to pick an instructor that will instruct, but also let you paint for enjoyment !
I especially love working with children. They are very creative and passionate about painting. I am always pleasantly surprised when I instruct a group of kids. The paintings are all so individual even though we are using the same example. I love to go around and look at each painting and enjoy it.
