About Amanda
I'm special because I provide more than an acrylic painting class, I curate experiences you won't forget! I provide everything you need to curate an experience you won't ever forget! All clients have to do is provide tables, chairs, and friends!
What I love most about the work I do is the look in a clients eye when they see for themselves what they can do. With almost a decade of experiences, as a visual artist and art teacher, my services bring me joy because I get the chance to use my skills and challenge myself to help others see a side of themselves they didn't know they had before. Being an art teacher allows me to always have the posture of a student, eager to explore, learn, and manifest!
As the eldest of 4 kids in my family, I've always had the position of teaching because I've had to guide my siblings at different stages of my life. I taught many "free-range" art classes in Alabama for about 4 years, and now since moving to Maryland, I teach in a traditional classroom for the past two years.
I earned my Bachelors Degree in Studio Art at Alabama A&M University and have been teaching off and on between Alabama and the Metropolitan Washington DC area for a total of 6 years.
