About Aurelia
I love teaching French and Music. What I think makes my service stand out is that I love combining the two subjects to try and help my students not only learn a language, but also learn about new things in Music, whether it's finding new songs or leaning a new instrument.
I just love teaching my students a new language and instrument. I think it is so incredibly fullfilling to be able to see someone grow and learn over the time that we spend together. It brings be a lot of joy
I got started teaching in 2008 when people in my school wanted Music lessons and wanted help with their IB French classes.
I was born and raised in Paris, France. I am fluent in French and English. I got my IB Diploma from the International School of Paris and got my Bachelors in Music Business and Music at Belmont University. I have been teaching French and Music since 2008 and I absolutely love it

I like to start my first lesson talking about what my student would like to accomplish with their lessons, what their interest are and what kind of learner they are. If they aren't sure, then I proceed with trying different methods of teaching and figure out what works best for them (audio, reading, writing, music, etc...). Then by the end of each lesson, I like taking a second to look over what they would like to look at the next week, what I would like for them to do for the next week and remind them of what they have accomplished this lesson to motivate them.
I have worked with kids (8 months-12 years old), teenagers (14-17 years old) and adults (20 and older)
I would advice to make sure that you are looking for someone that has experience in teaching in their field and that cares about making sure that they are having a good time learning
I have recently been working with kids and I absolutely love seeing them grow and learn two languages at the same time. That is actually how I ended up being bilingual and I love being able to help others with this.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think they should ask them about what the teacher can do to help them and also need to make sure that they are going to be reliable.
