About Arthur
I am very grateful for the relationships that have come from tutoring students of different backgrounds and needs. It is definitely true that a tutoring relationship is a two-way street. I have learned a lot about my own struggles by trying to help others achieve their goals.

For me tutoring is about helping the student directly. I have certain expertise, but ultimately the student performs on the test so the tutoring is about him or her. In order to help the student directly it's my job to pay close attention. By paying attention to the student I find opportunities to encourage them to explore what is uninteresting, unexciting, and unappealing. When students are exploring their own struggles success is achieved.
