About Abbie
I am an experienced and dedicated tutor, specialising in personalised, one-to-one instruction tailored for diverse learners, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and neurotypical students. I take a holistic approach to tutoring by considering the students' interests, needs, and current level in planning and implementing sessions.
I believe positive reinforcement, empathy and perseverance are key facets to unlocking a student's potential. Through cultivating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, my aim is to embolden individuals to conquer obstacles and excel in their academic journey.
My background training: I have a distinction-level MSc in Psychology from UCL and a First Class BSc degree in Psychology from University of Kent. I have also worked as a researcher in developmental psychology for the University of Kent.
As a tutor, I bring over 4 years of experience in working with a range of ages and abilities, from children to adults. I am confident that I can help you or your child succeed in their Psychology course, be it at GCSE, A-Level or Undergraduate studies.
Note: I am currently only taking online after school sessions (4pm onward) from Tuesday-Friday.
