Hello! My name is Dimitri.
My goal and passion is to teach the magical instrument of DRUMS!
There are many future Drummers that need a teacher and I am here to help!
I am a goofy character that can keep a straight face.
I will help guide you into your Drumming Journey.
Drums have been in my life for more than 15 years!
I have performed Drumming more than 10 years and still keep learning!
I am safe for the younger ears and full of energy to keep the lesson full of information!

Since I began my drumming, I've always wanted to learn more of what makes Drums sound good. It always starts with the Drummer.
I wanted to make myself a creative, efficient, versatile musician.
I always had a natural sense for rhythm and melodies. Over the years I kept teaching myself and friends how to keep a beat or just jam with one another.
It became second nature and before you know it, after my schooling was completed I created my own home recording studio to record Drums for myself and others.
I have always been good with connecting to all different types of personalities and can find the similarities with one another.
I found my passion to help, guide, teach and coach others that want to grow with music like I do!
I have 15 years of experience with Drumming. Throughout the years I have had the opportunity to perform live and record several songs with multiple musicians all over the world.
I love all styles of music so I know most styles of drumming.
Pop, Rock, Funk, Blues, Jazz, Hip Hop, Metal, Reggae, Fusion, Folk and Bossa Nova.

With every student, if they are brand new or very experienced, I always focus on where they are at and on their drumming needs and wants.
I work on having a flowing process. Drums are a huge part of music, creating and holding the rhythm section is what I aim for. Having fun is definitely apart of what I do because music is fun.
All ages ranging from 5 - 85 years old.
I have worked with special need students.
Take your time, maybe shop around to find who fits and works best for you.
I look for a teacher who is patient, understanding, focused and has a passion for the art.
By the end of the day, we all have things to do but when I am with a student, that is were my mind and heart is at.
I always love when people gather around and come together to listen to live music. We are all very similar and so different, but music can always bring us together!

Working with Dimitri was an awesome experience! He does a great job of making sure you learn whatever he is trying to teach on drums, but also making it a fun time. Some teachers can be too stern or boring and other teachers can be too loose and care free to the point where you don't really get anything done. He is the perfect balance between the two, which made for an awesome experience. He's an extremely talented musician and I would HIGHLY recommended taking classes with him. 10/10 experience.
Dimitri is a fantastic teacher. He is not only an amazing drummer but is very patient and inspiring when teaching new rhythmic concepts. He will take you places musically you didn't even know existed!
