About Dave
I was a math and science tutor for Seattle University while I did electrical and computer engineering undergrad there. I worked in system administration and database administration in the private sector for 2 years after school, then aerospace power electronics for 3 years after that, then controls engineering for aerospace assembly lines for a year, and recently switched to the food industry where I'm a process control engineer/automation engineer for a large bio refinery that makes food products. I finished my masters in electrical engineering from the University of Washington in 2021. I have 10 years of college credit and was an Army medic for 7 years, so I've had a lot of teachers and learned a lot about teaching people through direct experience. I got a 167 on the quantitative portion of the GRE, 91 on ASVABSs (with 137 GT), and I'm about to test for my PE in Power Electronics. I'm a general HAM operator and have spent my life learning and collecting licenses and certifications. Most importantly though, I enjoy teaching people and helping people wrap their mind around technical subjects.
