About Varun
I am a project assistant at IISc Bangalore working in Applied Mathematics and I have studied a vast stratum of Mathematics. I have graduated from BITS Pilani with a double major in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. Check my facebook profile at (concealed information)
I got started covering some high school mathematics classes for my old teacher as a part-time summer thing.

I first try to assess what the student's strengths are and try to address his/her difficulties by drawing analogies to their strengths.
I have worked with high school, middle school, and undergraduate students.
I would suggest the student to not be reserved to ask me why and how at each step since Mathematics is an inherently rigorous subject, it really benefits the student more if they ask questions after every step and try to understand core logic behind problems.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should keep a timeline in mind. Some problems take longer than others. So, they should have a broad categorisation of their needs and under each header, fill in smaller necessities.
