About Haidy
I'm a recent high school graduate, June 2022, of an IGCSE curriculum. Currently I'm in my educational gap year phase before getting enrolled in a university in September 2023. My drive in becoming a tutor is that I find what I learnt during my high school years is very valuable, and when I remember the number of hours and efforts I devoted towards my studies, I can not allow myself to forget all this information and let it go in vain. My focus major is commerce (Accounting, Economics and B. Studies) and in my last year of secondary studies I took 2 A-levels (Economics and Mathematics). My grades are ranging between A* and A, where for my A-levels I achieved grade C and B* respectively. I know the feeling of spending quite few hours searching for the correct steps/ answers on the internet and in the end not finding your question being answered or doubt being checked. My goal as being a tutor is to provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. It goes without saying that, what I found most challenging at the beginning of my secondary studies was the mathematics. As a result, I spent enormous number of hours practicing and deciphering all the mathematical doubts coming in my way, with the help of a great maths tutor. As a conclusion, I know what effect can a great tutor have on your studies and confidence!
