About Abby
Hello! Thanks for looking at my profile - I would love to have the opportunity to tutor you! I just graduated from William and Mary with a math degree, and although I’m new to this website, I have experience tutoring throughout college. I also taught at a summer math camp for gifted students for two years, so I am happy and able to meet you wherever you’re at mathematically.
I absolutely love teaching and tutoring. I love getting to know my students and helping them overcome any mathematical challenges or anxieties they may have. Math shouldn’t be a cause of anxiety for anyone, but sadly it is for far too many. I’m here to make your life less stressful and to help you enjoy math a little more :)

I like to first spend time assessing the student's needs, ability level, and learning style. Then together with the student, we can develop a plan of action, including what materials to use, how often to meet, and goals we would like to meet by the end of our time together.

The experience was awesome! Before I met Abby I was at a complete loss at how I was going to get the SAT score I needed.
