About Grace
As a 16-year-old sophomore at a Catholic high school, I have always given my best work and efforts to my schooling. Throughout my middle school years, I was usually the one helping others with their math subjects. My teachers in highschool would also frequently ask me to help other students with algebra, geometry, etc. I know how difficult it can be to understand a certain topic, but I am willing to help you in your studies to the best of my abilities. It would be an honor to tutor you as a student and I would make it my personal responsibility to give you the help you would need, whatever it may be.
I love giving other students the help they need and seeing them succeed. It is the most rewarding feeling for me. Although I may not go into the teaching career as an adult, I would love to tutor anyone as a student who is struggling with math, grammar, etc. I listen and am open to questions as well.
I started originally tutoring in 8th grade in chemistry to some of my fellow classmates who were struggling to understand how chemical compounds and equations worked. I get not just the satisfaction and excitement of someone being able to truly understand and grasp a topic, but I have a passion for helping others.
I have completed elementary education, middle school, and freshman year of high school. In terms of math, I have been educated on basic math, algebra (completed in eighth grade), and geometry, all of which I have received about an average of an A in. When I learn, I tend to need an explanation to everything and truly understand the reasoning so I have always had a firm grasp on most everything I learned.

I would start by asking the student what subject they are looking to improve on. Knowing what topics they’re struggling with is the goal and from there, giving them the explanations they need and one-on-one tutoring is what would be accomplished. I want to see the student succeed and help them to the best of my ability.
I have worked with students my age, in middle school and high school math, as well as in elementary school.
I would tell them to choose someone who has had a good experience in school and would communicate with them on an open and understanding level.
A recent event I am fond of would probably be acing my final in geometry and my final project for it. I know it’s cheesy but I worked really hard and just wanted to do my best. (:
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should ask themselves what part of it most confuses them and how they can begin to understand it in a way that is good for them, for example do they need more practice? Or do they just need to refresh and have someone explain it in a different way?
