About Katherine
I currently work in the biopharmaceutical industry as a training specialist with a focus on biologics manufacturing and biotechnology education. While developing and delivering trainings at work has given me experience from the teaching side, I am also currently a graduate student. Being a current student allows me the perspective from the other side and allows me to know first hand what works and what doesn't while learning new and complex material.
I love sharing and teaching about the things I am passionate about. The feeling of seeing something click for someone else and sparking a love for STEM is so extremely rewarding and inspiring.
I have a BS in Biochemistry and am currently working on my MS in Biochemistry. Additionally, I work as a Biotech Manufacturing Training Specialist at a leading biopharmaceutical company. My experience has given me insight into a variety of teaching tactics that have helped many learn complex concepts and theories related to biologic manufacturing production and biotechnology.
