Perfect! This was my first experience with a private tutor, and I did not know what to expect. I approached her about a month into my college Algebra class, on the verge of dropping the class. Being away from the classroom for many years, combined with a general distaste for "all things math" resulted in total frustration with this class and instructor. On our first visit, Diana assisted me in setting clear expectations for both the class and her services, and supported me academically and emotionally throughout the process. Her patience and calmly influence were critical to my continuing with this class. She explained problems in terms I could understand, and was pro-active in addressing issues I faced. She repeatedly addressed my weak points, with seemingly endless patience. Without her assistance, I would have dropped the class; with her assistance and support, I was able to achieve a B. My only regret is in waiting a month to contact her; I could not recommend her more strongly!
