About Joshua

I try my best to instill a deep understanding of course material. To not just answer questions presented, but to put you in the best circumstance for answering any question in a related field.

I'm 22, and recently graduated from college. I love helping people get through the stress of math courses, but even more I love seeing them exceed even their own expectations.

It started in highschool when I would help my peers study for calculus, and in my undergrad I would TA and offer private tutoring outside of class. Also I have a sister in middle school who I give weekly lessons to so she can stay at the top of her class.

I am currently working on my Master's of Mathematics from Arizona State University. Math came naturally when I was young, but recently it's gotten exponentially harder as of late. I now can relate how I feel with my current courses to perhaps how another student may feel with their current class.

About the lesson

With every new student I like to spend a few minutes getting to know them. Everyone comes from a different background and it always helps to have an idea about who someone is as a person before completely understanding them as a student.

I've worked primarily with highschool-undergrad.

I would advise them to find someone who they can relate best with. The more the teacher understands the student needs the better the teacher may be at their job.

In my free time I travel, and recently I'm coming back from Iceland where I spent months travelling the country.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
If you have any questions you shouldn't hesitate to ask, the quicker I can answer it and provide you with an understanding, the faster we can move on.
