About Kelley
I am passionate about learning and enjoy working with students of all ages. I am a recent graduate of Northwestern University where I studied Biomedical Engineering, so I have a strong background in math. While I was there, I volunteered with a student group to tutor weekly at local elementary and middle schools. I worked with students who needed a little extra help and made sure they were continuously understanding new material and keeping up with classwork.
Ever since I was young, I've had an affinity for math and helping to explain concepts to other students. I am always excited to share my love for math with younger students and help them excel in the classroom. I also enjoy working with kids and have babysat in past, and I like to work with people, which led me to a career in sales.

I like to get to know students a little, including hobbies and things they enjoy outside of the classroom. I ask about ways they find that they learn most efficiently and make sure they feel respected and heard. I also work to understand what they find difficult- is it specific concepts, paying attention in class, how they are thinking about the problem etc. From there, I get a much better sense of how I can best assist them.
